Callywith is about to open its doors for Grand Open Event
Callywith College, opening in Bodmin in September 2017, is throwing open its doors for the very first time for its Grand Open Event on Saturday 19th August between 10am-3pm.
Callywith College, opening in Bodmin in September 2017, is throwing open its doors for the very first time for its Grand Open Event on Saturday 19th August between 10am-3pm.
Prospective students, their families and the local community are being invited to be amongst the first to take a look around the brand new College and tour the campus to experience first-hand its state-of-the-art facilities including 75” touch screens in every teaching room and four bespoke, industry standard science labs equipped for extensive practical work and state-of-the art digital data capture. Teaching staff from a variety of subject areas will be on hand to talk about the 28 A Levels including Psychology, Media and Environmental Science and 16 Level 2 and Level 3 Diplomas including Applied Science and Games, Animation & VFX Skills, on offer to students looking to join the College in September 2017, to help them find the perfect course(s).

The College’s Refectory will also be open throughout the day to showcase all of the fantastic food on offer for students and a Callywith Wifi enabled bus will be on site for prospective students to hop on board and give it a try. Sportswear Company Mizuno will be showcasing the Callywith College sports kits and the Callywith branded sports clothing which will be available to students joining in September along with Pirate FM joining in with the celebration, broadcasting live from the event throughout the day.
Callywith Principal Mark Wardle is looking forward to welcoming the College’s very first visitors through the doors; “We are all delighted that phase 1 of our fantastic state-of-the-art campus has been completed on time. We can't wait to show our students the facilities they will be learning in from September. Our staff team are looking forward to starting work at the College and to meeting the community who have been so supportive.
