Geography students embark on once in a lifetime trip to Toronto
Geography students have recently returned from an amazing trip to Toronto, Canada as part of a cross-college trip with Truro and Penwith College.

Students had some fantastic opportunities to get first-hand experience of some of the areas that they study as part of their course such as regeneration, gentrification, social clustering and more!
Students experienced an epic snowstorm which although cancelled the visit to Niagra falls, gave them amazing opportunities for snowball fights!
A trip up the 155 stories of the CN Tower provided some breathtaking snowy views, outdoor ice skating at Nathan Phillips Square and walking tours around downtown Toronto, they definitely got their steps in.

New experiences of Canadian culture were had by most students at their first ever Ice Hockey match resulting in a win for the Toronto Marlies, and at a basketball game, where the outcome was less favourable for the Raptors!
Personal Development Tutor Leanne, who joined students on the trip, shared: "They were an absolute pleasure to take and embraced every moment of this amazing adventure!"
