Callywith opens doors to prospective students
Callywith College opened its doors to prospective students and their families on Saturday 28th January providing them with the opportunity to discover more about the wide range of courses and extra-curricular activities on offer at our Ofsted Outstanding college.
Visitors explored the campus, met our wonderful staff and students and took part in a range of activities including virtual reality in the computing, IT & games department, science experiments and a lighting activity with Drama & Performing Arts.
Principal Jon Grey was delighted to have been able to welcome future students to the College: “Prospective students are making important decisions about their futures. Our aim is always to showcase what an outstanding college we have and encourage students to apply, join us and thrive. The results our students achieve are exceptional and the way they describe their college experience is testament to the exceptional teaching and support they receive.”
Visitors also had the opportunity to attend a talk from the Principal in the lecture theatre and found out about getting to college from our transport providers Go Cornwall.
Therapy dog Macy and our Student Services team were ready to greet visitors wanting to find out more about student support including mental health, careers and financial support.
